Platform Update: The New Experience
This release delivers a complete redesign of the core AutogenAI platform experience across the home page, editor, projects and workflows. All changes are included in your standard subscription at no additional cost.
Home Page
The home page has been rebuilt around action. When users log in they now see a focused landing page that surfaces their most important work immediately.
What has changed:
- Three quick action buttons replace the previous quick actions: New Document, Create New Project, and Fill a Form
- Recently Viewed now shows a single unified list of the last 10 items across Workspace, Project, Response and Research Session, horizontally scrollable with a section type indicator on each card. Previously the list showed only the last item from each category
- An Assigned Tasks widget has been added as an optional slot. It surfaces tasks assigned to the user automatically and hides entirely if there are no tasks to display
- Research Assistant has moved to the bottom of the home page. Style and behaviour are unchanged
Not included in this release: Extract, Library and Capture in Recently Viewed, show more or show less control on Recently Viewed, visual or brand changes.
New Editor Experience
The editor has been redesigned as a unified document-centric writing surface. Users no longer switch between the editor and Research Assistant as separate tools.
What has changed:
- A three column layout replaces the previous single surface editor: primary navigation on the left, document pane in the centre, and a persistent right side assistant panel
- The right side panel contains five tabs accessible via a persistent icon strip: Write (Research Assistant), Storyboard, Comments, Gamma Review, and Sources
- Research Assistant is now embedded directly in the editor as the Write tab. The functionality is identical, it is simply accessible from within the document surface
- Custom Prompts (Tone of Voice) are now available in the transformations toolbar, allowing teams to shape generated content to match their brand and proposal style
- Sources has moved from the editor footer to a dedicated tab in the right side panel, keeping evidence visible alongside document content at all times
- Reviewer licence holders have access to a read only editor view with Comments and Gamma Review but without AI writing features. No change to Full licence requirements
Known limitations in this release:
- Export from Research Assistant within the embedded editor panel is hidden. Use the standalone Research Assistant experience to export as a workaround. This will be resolved before general availability
- Quick action cards are hidden in the panel layout
- Page view with paginated toggle is coming in a future release
- Ideator and Extract remain accessible. Deprecation is planned for a future phase
End-to-End Projects
The entire project experience has been overhauled to give proposal teams a structured, guided path from RFP upload through to submission.
What has changed:
- Workflow Detector: automatically analyses uploaded RFPs and extracts the proposal summary, scope, outline, deadlines and evaluation criteria so teams can start working immediately
- Create a Project Wizard: a five step setup flow covering Name, RFP, Deadline, Files and Confirm. The wizard is skippable
- Redesigned Project Hub: a central landing page within every project showing milestone progress, days to submission deadline and the status of every document the team is working on
- Five structured stage pages: Pre-Proposal, Prepare and Plan, Write, Review, and Submit. Each stage has recommended actions and auto-generated artefacts.
- Generated Activities: stage-specific auto-generated artefacts such as competitor analysis and proposal outlines created at each stage and flowing directly into the Project Library
- Project Library and Knowledge Hub: replaces the Resources tab and combines project sources, uploaded files and organisation Knowledge Hub content in one place inside every project
- Redesigned Document Editor within projects: more document space, reorganised right-hand panel and a persistent Proposal Assistant with pre-prompted suggestions
Note: Review and Submit stages and milestones are being delivered in Q3.
Smart Workflows
The platform is consolidating legacy workflow experiences into a single unified model.
What has changed:
- Classic Requirements Workflow (North America) is now in maintenance only mode and is being replaced by Smart Requirements Workflow
- Classic Questions Workflow (EMEA and APAC) has been deprecated from beta and is being replaced by Smart Questions Workflow
- Smart Requirements Workflow and Smart Questions Workflow are now generally available for all customers without model availability constraints
Customers not yet on Smart Workflows due to model availability constraints will be contacted directly by their Customer Success Manager to manage the transition.
Integrations and Data Sources
The platform has significantly expanded its integration capability via MCP (Model Context Protocol) connections, enabling AutogenAI to connect to the systems where your organisation's knowledge already lives.
What has changed:
- Highspot MCP integration is live
- A unified MCP Settings page has shipped, allowing admins to enable or disable individual integrations from a central location with inline consent prompts at the point of tool use
Licences and Access
- All features in this release are included in your standard AutogenAI subscription at no additional cost
- No new licences are required
- Unlimited Read Only licences remain included as standard
- Some features are being rolled out via feature flags. Your Customer Success Manager will manage access and rollout for your organisation
- The new editor requires a Full licence, consistent with the existing editor requirement
