Ask a question and get a researched, sourced answer from your own content.
The Research Assistant on your home page helps you find answers and draft text using the documents in your libraries. It's a fast way to pull together research and first-pass content for a bid.
Ask a question
To run a search:
- Go to your home page and open the Research Assistant.
- Choose the library or datasets you want it to use, or upload a new document.
- Type your question and select 'Search'.
- Read the answer, and open the listed sources to check where the information came from.
Choose how deep the research goes
- Standard is faster and good for quick answers.
- Pro does deeper, more thorough research and is best when you need well-sourced content. It can take a little longer.
Get better results
- Be specific in your question – the clearer the ask, the better the answer.
- Make sure the right library or datasets are selected and your documents have finished processing.
- Always check the sources before you rely on an answer.
If something isn't working
- The answer is slow or doesn't appear: refresh the page and try again – clearing your browser cache often helps.
- No sources are shown: check the right library is selected and your documents have finished processing.
- The answer isn't using your content: confirm the correct library or datasets are attached.
