For IT administrators: how to deploy the AutogenAI Microsoft Word add-in, either centrally or for an individual user.
Deploy the add-in
- Choose central deployment (through the Microsoft 365 admin centre) or an individual install.
- Deploy or install the AutogenAI add-in.
- Ask users to sign in to the add-in with their AutogenAI details.
- Confirm the add-in appears on the Word ribbon.
Good to know
- Allow pop-ups and cookies for AutogenAI so add-in sign-in works.
- The add-in works in Word for desktop.
- Central deployment can take a little time to appear for users.
If something isn't working
- Sign-in to the add-in fails: check pop-ups and cookies are allowed, and that the same login is used as the website.
- The add-in isn't showing: allow time for deployment, then have the user restart Word.
