When several people contribute to one proposal, tone and terminology can drift. AutogenAI's style guides apply one consistent voice across every section, whoever drafted it.
Best for: proposal managers and proposal teams working with multiple contributors.

What you will need
- A project in AutogenAI
- Your organization's style guide (tone, terminology, formatting rules)
- Draft content from your writers
Step 1: Set up a style guide in your project
- Open your project by clicking the projects icon and selecting your project.
- Go to the project's style guide settings in Project Admin.
- Upload or write in your style guide rules, such as:
- Preferred tone (for example, confident, plain language)
- Approved terminology and terms to avoid
- Sentence length and formatting preferences
- Save your changes.
Tip: Keep rules specific and short. "Use active voice" works better than "write well."
Step 2: Paste in your writers' content
- Open the section you want to standardize.
- Paste in the content from your writer.
- Repeat for each contributor's section.
Step 3: Apply the style guide
- Select the pasted content.
- Click "Edit with Assistant".
- Type "Apply style guide"and send.
- Review the revised text. It now follows your project's style guide. Accept or reject the suggested text.
Step 4: Review and finalize
- Check that key facts, figures, and claims are unchanged.
- Make any final edits by hand.
- Repeat for the remaining sections so the whole proposal reads as one voice.
Best practices
- Set the style guide before writing starts so all contributors work to the same standard.
- Apply it section by section to keep review manageable.
- Update the guide as you learn. If you keep correcting the same issue, add it as a rule.
- Always review the output. Style guides change how content reads, not what it means.
